WHER:AS, the Department of Building and Safety of the City o.f Palm ,�- Desert, California, has copied onto microfiche official files, records, exhibits, permits, and other documents of said department; and, � WHEREAS, said microfiche files may be stored and retained for sub- stantially less cost than the original documents and with less hazard from fire and water damage. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and con- stitute the findings of the City Council of this case, 2, That it does hereby approve the destruction of all documents, records, or files for which copies have been rnade on micro- fiche, and, 3. Al1 permits, calculations, specifications, plans, tract maps, and related information pertaining to a].1 finaZled/completed construction prior to February 28, 1982, are filed and are available for public use.
