HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 82-004C RESOLUTION NO. �2_4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY •OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND APPROVING AN EIGHTEEN (18) MONTH EXTENSION PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 26.20.140 OF THE PALM DESERT MUNICIPAL CODE FOR APPROVED TENTATIVE TRACT MAP TT 14032. CASE NO. TT 14032 (TIME EXTENSION) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, did on the 8th day of December, 1981, receive a request from MCLAIN DEVELOPMENT for approval of � an eighteen (18) month time extension for a Tentative Tract Map to allow construction of 206 dwelling units and associated open space on 60.13 acres located at the southeast corner of Portola Avenue and Country Club Drive. WHEREAS, THE City Council is empowered to grant time extensions of up to eighteen months for filing of the final map in Section 26.20.140 of the Palm Desert Municipal Code; and, WHEREAS, the City Council did find the following reasons to exist to justify the granting of said time extension: 1. Granting the time extension will not in any way adversely affect the public health, safety or general welfare. 2. The applicant is not proposing any changes to the project and the situation in the vicinity of the project is unchanged since the subject tentative tract was originally approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: 1. That MCLAIN DEVELOPMENT is hereby granted an eighteen month time extension of the approval of Tentative Tract Map 14032. 2. That the Final Map for Tract No. 14032 must be filed prior to July 8, 1983, to preserve the validity of said tract. 3. That Tentative Tract ��Iap 14032 is subject to all conditions contained in Resolution No. 81-4.
