HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 82-050RESOLUTION NO. 82- 50 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING A FEE SCHEDULE FOR APPLICATION, OPERATION AND INSPEC'TION OF AMBULANCE SERVICE. . WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 290 was adopted by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, on March 11, 1982, relative to ambulance service; and WHEREAS, Section I0.84.100 License Fee and Section 10.84.220 Application; permit fee; expiration provides that the City Council shall establish fees by resolution. NOW, THEREFO�tE, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert DOF.S HEREBY RESOLVE as follows: 1. The application for the Certificate of Need and Necessity shall be $100. Said fee shall include the inspection of one (1) ambulance vehicle, or acceptance by the City of a valid and current certificate of inspection from the Cities of Indian Wells or Rancho Mirage. 2. The inspection and reinspection of additional ambulance vehicles will be.$25 each, or in lieu of such fee, the City will accept a valid and current certificate of inspection from the Cities of Indian Wells or Rancho i�tirage. 3. The application for ambulance operator and ambulance drivers shall be $5 for any person employed or engaged in this capacity, or in lieu of such fee, the City will accept a valid and current operating permit issued by the Cities of Indian Wells or Rancho Mirage.
