A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COLT�ICIL FOR THE CITY OF
PAI,M DESERT, CALII'OR�'�IA, SETTING FORTH ITS FIND-
INGS AND AUTHORIZING THE DESTRliCTION OF FILES FROM
THE DEPARTi�NT OF BliILDING AND SAFETY THAT HAVE
BEEN MICROFIL�IED.
WHEREAS, the Department of Building and Safety of the City of
Palm Desert, California, has copied onto microfiche, official files, records,
exhibits, permits and other documents of said department; and
WHEREAS, said microfiche files may be stored and retained for
substantially less cost than the original documents and with less hazard from
fire and water damage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Palm Desert, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct and consti-
tute the findings of the City Council of this case; and
2. That it does hereby approve the destruction of a11 documents,
records, or files (as set forth in Exhibit "A", attached herein
and made a part thereof) for which copies have been made on micro-
film; and
3. All permits, calculations, specifications, plans, tract maps, and
related information �ertaining to all finalled/completed construc-
tion prior to August 1, 1984, are filed and are available for public
use.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert
City Council held on this 13th day of SPntPmhar , 1984,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: JACKSON, WILSON AND SNYDER
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: KELLY AND PULUQI
ABSTAIN: NONE
