WHEREAS, the Department of Building and Safety of the City of Palm Desert, California, has copied onto microfiche, official files, records, exhibits, permits and other documents of said department; and WHEREAS, said microfiche files may be stored and retained for substantially less cost than the original documents and with less hazard from fire and water damage; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: , 1. That the above recitations are.true �nd correct and consti- • tute the findings of the City Council of this case; and Z. That it does hereby approve the destruction of all documents, records, or files (as set forth in Exhibit "A", attached herein and made a part thereof) for which copies have been made on micro- f ilm; and 3. All permits, calculations, specifications, plans, tract maps, and related information pertaining to all finalled/completed construc- tion prior to October 1, 1984, are filed and are available for public use.
