HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 84-020.� RESOLUTION N0. $L+-2O A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF PAL�I DESERT, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINDZNGS AND AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF FILES FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING AND SAFETY THAT HAVE BEEN MICROFILMED. �� 9 WHEREAS, the Department of Building and Safety of the City of Palm Desert, California, has copies onto microfiche, official files, records, exhibits, permits, and other documents of said department; and WHEREAS, said microfiche files may be stored and re- tained for substantially less cost than the original documents and with less hazard from fire and water damage; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the City Council of this case; and 2. That it does hereby approve the destruction of all documents, records, or files (as set forth in Exhibit "A", attached herein and made a part hereof) for which copies have been made on microfilm; and 3. Al1 permits, calculations, specifications, plans, tract maps, and related information pertaining to all finalled/completed construction prior to February l, 1984, are filed and are available for public use.
