HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 84-046RESOLUTION N0. 84-46 A RESOLUTION OF THL CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF PALrI DESERT, CALIFOQIVIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND AUTHORIZI;JG THE DESTRUCTION OF FILES FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING AND SAFE- TY THAT HAVE BEEN MICROFILMED. WHEREAS, the Department of Building and Safety of_ the City of Palm Desert, California, has copied onto microfiche, official fi?es, records, exhibits, permits and other documents of said department; and WHEREAS, said microfiche files may be stored and retained For substantially less cost than the original documents and with less hazard fror� fire and water damage; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and consti- tute the findings of the City Council of this case; and 2. That it does hereby approve the destruction of all documents, records, or files (as set forth in Exhibit "A", attached herein and made a part hereof) for which copies have been made on micro- film; and 3. All permits, calculations, specifications, plans, tract maps, and related information pertaining to all finalled/completed construc- tion prior to April 1, 1984, are filed and are available for public use.
