A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE 1983-84
BUDGET TO PROVIDE APPROPRIATIONS FOR TRANSFERS
TO CAPITAL PROJECTS RESERVE FUNDS.
� WHEREAS, it appears that Revenues, for certain funds, for the
'' 1983-84 fiscal year wi11 exceed the requirements for currently budgeted
; appropriations, and

WHEREAS, it is desirable to appropriate said excess revenues
to Capital Projects Reserves for the construction of future Capital Projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Palm Desert, California, that the 1983-84 Budget is hereby amended by
appropriaLing from the Unobligated Fund Balance of certain funds enumerated
below to the identified Capital Projects Reserve Funds the amounts indicated.
1. From the General Fund to the Capital Projects Reserve Fund:
Streets - $875,000;
Z. From the Traffic Safety Fund to the Capital Projects
Reserve Fund: Streets - $23,000;
3. From the Drainage Facilities Fund to the Capital Projects
Reserve Fund: Drainage - $625,000;
4. From the Park and Recreation Facilities Fund to the Capital
Projects Reserve Fund: Parks and Recreation -$205,000;
5. From the Traffic Signalization Fund to the Capital Projects
Reserve Fund: Signalization - $49,000;
--- 6. From the Fire Facilities (Ord. 266) Fund to the Capital
Projects Reserve Fund: Fire Facilities -$75,000; .
7. From the New Construction Tax Fund to the Capital Projects
Reserve Fund: Parks -$600,00 and to the Capital Projects
Reserve Fund: Fire Facilities - $360,000.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm
Desert City Council held on this 28th day of June , 1984
by the following vote, to wit:
