A RESOLUTION UF THE CITY �OUNCIL OF TNE CiTY UF
PALM DESERT. CALIFURNIA, CERT[FY[NG A NEGATIVE
DECLARATfON OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT FOR
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 84-1.
WHEREAS, the City Council ot the City of Palm Desert, California, did on
the lOth day of October, 1985, conduct a duly advertised public hearing to
accept testimony pertaining to Assessment District 84-1; and
WHEREAS, as a result of said testimony and information contained in an
initial study prepared by the Palm Desert Oepartment of Community Development
and Planning finds that the project will not have a significant adverse impact
on the environment; and
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm
Desert, as follows:
l. That it does hereby cerfiify a negat.ive declaration of environmental
impact for Assessment District 64-1 as ful�illing the requirements
of the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 as amended; and
is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
PASSED, APPROVEO and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert City
Council, held on this lOth day o� October, 1985, by the foliowing vote, to wit:

PROJECT OESCR[PTION/LOCATION:
Installation of six miles of fully improved arterial streets, water lines, and
sewers north of Country Club Drive. The streets are: Gerald Ford Drive
(Monterey Avenue ta Portola Avenue); Frank Sinatra Orive (Monterey Avenue to
Cook Street); Portola Avenue (Country Club Drive to Gerald Ford Drive); Cook
Street (Country Club Drive to Frank Sinatra Drive).
The Oirector of the Department of Cortmunity Deveiopment, City of Palm Desert,
Califo�nia, has found that the described project will �ot have a significant
effect on the environment. A r_opy of the Initial Study has been attached to
document the reasons in support of this finding. Mitigation measures, if any,
included in the project to avoid potentially significant effects, may also be
found attached.
