CALIFURNIA, CERT[FY[NG A NEGATIVE DECLARATfON OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 84-1. WHEREAS, the City Council ot the City of Palm Desert, California, did on the lOth day of October, 1985, conduct a duly advertised public hearing to accept testimony pertaining to Assessment District 84-1; and WHEREAS, as a result of said testimony and information contained in an initial study prepared by the Palm Desert Oepartment of Community Development and Planning finds that the project will not have a significant adverse impact on the environment; and NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, as follows: l. That it does hereby cerfiify a negat.ive declaration of environmental impact for Assessment District 64-1 as ful�illing the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 as amended; and is attached hereto as Exhibit A. NEGIITIVE OECLARATION CASE N0: NORTH SPHERE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 84-1 (A.D. 84-1) APPLICANT/PROJECT SPONSOR: CITY OF PALM DESERT 73-510 Fred Waring Orive Palm Desert, CA 92260 PROJECT OESCR[PTION/LOCATION: Installation of six miles of fully improved arterial streets, water lines, and sewers north of Country Club Drive. The streets are: Gerald Ford Drive (Monterey Avenue ta Portola Avenue); Frank Sinatra Orive (Monterey Avenue to Cook Street); Portola Avenue (Country Club Drive to Gerald Ford Drive); Cook Street (Country Club Drive to Frank Sinatra Drive). The Oirector of the Department of Cortmunity Deveiopment, City of Palm Desert, Califo�nia, has found that the described project will �ot have a significant effect on the environment. A r_opy of the Initial Study has been attached to document the reasons in support of this finding.
