WHEREAS, the Department of Building and Safetv of the CitY of Palm Desert, California, has copied onto microfiche, official files, records, exhibits. permits and other documents of said department: and WHEREAS, said microfiche files may be stored and retained for substantially less cost than the oriqinal documents and with less hazard from fire and water damage. NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: l. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findinqs of the City Council of this case; and 2. That it does hereby approve the destruction of all documents, records or files (as set forth in Exhibit "A", attached herein and made on microfiche; and 3. All permits, calculations, specifications, plans, tract maps end related information pertaininq to all finalled/ completed construction prior to December 1, 1985, are filed and are available for public use.
