Home My WebLink AboutCC RES 85-016RESOLUTION N0. 85-16 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FIND- INGS AND AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF FILES FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING AND SAFETY THAT HAVE BEEN MICROFTLMED. WHEREAS, the Department of Building and Safety of the City of Palm Desert, California, has copied onto microfiche, official £iles, records exhibits, permits and other documents of said department; and WHEREAS, said microfiche files may be stored and retained for substantially less cost than the original documents and with less hazard from fire and water damage; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and consti- tute the findings of the City Council of this case; and 2. That it does hereby approve the destruction of all documents, records, or files (as set forth in Exhibit "A", attached herein and made a part thereof) for which copies have been made on microfilm; and 3. All permits, calculations, specifications, plans, tract maps, and related information pertaining to all finalZed/completed construction prior to February 1, 1985, are filed and are available for public use. PASSID, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert City Council held on this 14th day of March , 1985, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: JACKSON, KELLY, WILSON AND SNYDER NOES:
