Home My WebLink AboutCC RES 85-088RESOLLTION N0. 85-88 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COL�NCIL FOR THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND ALTHORIZING THE DESTRL'CTION OF FILES FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING AND SAFETY THAT HAVE BEEN MICROFILMED. WHEREAS, the Department of Building and Safety of the City o£ Palm Desert, California, has copied onto microfiche, official files, records, exhibits, permits and other documents of said department; and WHEREAS, said microfiche files may be stored and retained for substantially less cost than the original documents and with less hazard from fire and water damage. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the finding of the City Council of this case; and 2. That it does hereby approve the destruction of all documents, records or files (as set forth in Exhibit "A", attached herein and made a part thereof) for which copies have been made on microfiche; and 3. All permits, calculations, specifications, plans, tract maps and related information pertaining to all finalled/ completed construction prior to July 1, 1985 and August 1, 1985, are fil.ed and are available for public use. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert City Council held on this 12th day of September , 1985, by the following vote.
