CODE' C e 02 Q a tu c a C'0 J C 0 =� o��m C LL N x 5 G0 WO ! w RESOLUTION NO. 86-1 CO I A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, VACATING A PORTION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY KNOWN AS SONORA DRIVE IN SAID CITY UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF PART 3, DIVISION 9, OF THE STREETS 6 HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. WHEREAS, the City Council initiated, proceedings to vacate a portion of a street in the City of Palm Desert, more particularly described in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto,.and the City Council finds that said notices of such vacation were published and posted as required by law; and WHEREAS, the City Council on the 9th day of January, 1986, held a public hearing as_ required by law, at which hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation were heard, and said pubiic hearing was duly - and regularly closed; and 1. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of 'Palm Desert considered such matter and finds from the evidence submitted that portions of the street described in Exhibits "A" and "B" are unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE as follows: That the following described portions of right-of-way known as Sonora Drive In the City of Palm Desert be vacated subject to and retaining all public utility easements existing under said public right-of-way. Said portion of street to be vacated Is located in the City of Palm Desert, County of Riverside, State of California, and is described as set forth in Exhibits "A" and "B" attache hereto.
