WHEREAS, the City Council initiated proceedings to vacate a portion of a street in the City of Palm Desert, more particularly descrlbed in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto, and the City Councll finds that said notices of such vacation were published and posted as required by )aw; and WHEREAS, the City Council on the 25th day of September 1986, held a pubilc hearing as required by iaw, at which hearing ell persons interested 1� or objecting to the proposed vacation were heard, and said public hearing was duly and regularly closed; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert consldered such matter and finds from the evidence submltted that portions of the street described in Exhibits "A" and "B" are unnecessary for present or prospecttve public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Councii of the City of Palm Desert, California, DOES HEREBY RESOIVE as follows: � 7hat the following described portions of rfght-of-wey known as Cataltna Way tn the C1ty of Palm Desert be vacated subject to and retalning all public utility easements existing under said pubiic right-of-way and retaining easements over said right-of-way for emergency and publlc security ingress and egress purposes.
