SETTING FORTH 1TS FINDINGS AND AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF FILES FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF 6U1LD1NG AND SAFETY THAT HAVE BEEN M[CROF[LMEO. WHEREAS, the Department of Building and Safety of the City of Pa)m Desert, Callfornia, has copied onto microfiche, official files, records, exhibits, permits and other documents of said department; and WHEREAS, said microfiche files may be stored and retained for sub- stantially less cost than the originai documents and with less hazard from fire and water damage. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ctty Council of the City of Palm Desert, Cailfornia, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the City Council 4f this case; and 2. That it does hereby approve the destruction of all documents, records or files (as set forth in Exhibit "A", attached herein and made on microfiche); and 3. All permits, calculations, specifications, plans, tract maps and related in�ormation pertaining to ail finailed/completed construction prior to September 1, 1986 are filed and are available for public use.
