CODE RESOLUTION NO. 86-66 324817 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY INTO THE CITY STREET SYSTEM. WHEREAS, by a Declaration of Dedication recorded May 20, 1971 , as Instrument No. 53633, Records of Riverside County, California, C.E. Miller and Dorothy L. Miller, irrevocably dedicated in perpetuity for public road purposes, including public utility and public service uses, real property in the County of Riverside, State of California, described as follows: The northerly rectangular 44 feet of the northeast one-quarter of the southeast one-quarter of Section 17, T. 5 S. , R. 6 E. , S.B.M. , excepting therefrom the easterly rectangular 44 feet thereof. and WHEREAS, the purpose of the dedication was to provide a 44-foot width for the south one-half of Magnesia Falls Drive; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City to formally accept said dedica- tion into the City's street system. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, Califor- nia, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE as follows: SECTION 1 : That the property described above, which was dedicated by that certain document entitled Declaration of Dedication recorded May 20, 1971 , as Instrument No. 53633, Records of Riverside County, is hereby accepted into the City's street system. PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, on this 26th day of June, 1986, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: BENSON, SNYDER, WILSON, KELLY NOES: NONE ABSENT: JACKSON ABSTAIN: NONE (5LLyé RICHARD S. CODE 4- RESOLUTION N0. $6-86 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINOINGS AND AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF FILES FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING ANO SAFETY THAT NAVE BEEN MICROFILMED. WHEREAS, the Department of Building and Safety of the City of Palm Desert, California, has copied onto microfiche, official files, records, exhibits, permits and other documents of said department; and WHEREAS, said microfiche files may be stored and retained for sub- stantially less cost than the original documents and with less hazard from fire and water damage. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, Cailfornia, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the City Council of this case; and 2. That it does hereby approve the destruction of all documents, records or files (as set forth in Exhibit "A", attached herein and made on microfiche); and 3.
