Home My WebLink AboutCC RES 86-087RESOLUTION N0. 86-87 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND AUTFiORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF FILES FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING AND SAFETY THAT NAVE BEEN MICROFILMED. WHEREAS, the Department of Building and Safety of the City of Palm Desert, California, has copied onto microfiche, official files, records, exhlbits, permits and other documents of said department; and WNEREAS, said microfiche files may be stored and retalned for sub- stantially less cost than the original documents and with less hazard from ftre and water damage. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Councii of the City of Palm Desert, Cailfornia, as follows: t. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the C1ty Council of this case; and 2. That it does hereby approve the destruction of all documents, records or files (as set forth in Exhibit "A", attached herein and made on microfiche); and 3. All permits, caiculations, specifications, pians, tract maps and related lnformation pertaining to aii finalled/completed canstruction prior to July 1, 1986 are Filed and are avail- . able for public use.
