A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITIf OF
PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, INITIATING THE HEARING PROCESS FOR
TFiE I lIPOS I T ION OF A L I EN ON A Pf20PERT1f AFFECTED BY ORD I NANCE
416 IMPROVEI£NTS UNOER THE PROVISIONS SET FORTH IN THE
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE, PART 3, SECTION 5103, PURSUANT TO
ORDINANCE 416, AND FIXING A T1ME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL
PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THIS MATTER.
The City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, does hereby
DETERM[NE, ORDER, and RESOLVE as follows:
I
That it intends to, and by this resolution does, initiate proceedings
under the provisions of Ordinance 416 to place a lien on a property affected by
Ordinance 416 improvements, more particularly described in Exhlbit "A" attached
hereto.
II
That the hour of 7:00 p.m. on the 12th day of January, 1989, in the
Council Chamber, 73-510 Fred Waring Orive, Palm Desert, California, is hereby
fixed as the time and place of hearing all persons interested in or objecting to
the proposed Ordinance 416 widening project.
III
That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to publish notice of said
hear i ng i n the Pa 1 m Desert Post once at 1 east ten ( 10 ) days before the date of
the hearing, and the city officials of the City of Palm Dese�t are hereby
instructed to post notice of such Ordinance 416 improvements, as required by law,
at least ten (10) days before the day set for hearing.
PASSED, APPROVED. and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Palm
Desert, California, on this 8th day of December, 1988, by the following vote, to
wit:
AYES: Benson, Kelly, Snyder, Wilson
NOES: None
ABSENT: Crites
ABSTAIN: None ,
