SCH 87082409 F�R GPA 87-2, C/Z 87-5 AI� PP 87-20 WE�REAS, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, did on the 25th day of February, 1988, hold a duly r�oticed public hearir�g at the request of TRZAD PACIFIC DEVELOPN�NT to consider approval of a draft Envirocmental In�act Report analyzing 34 acres of larid for the above project; and W�EAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and oor�siderirr3 all testinnrYy and argtm�ents of all interested persons desirir�g to be heard, said ovur�cil did find the follawing facts arxi reasorLs to exist to justify approval: 1. The �vir�or�me.ntal L�act Report determir�ed the follawing in�acts to exist which can be mitigated as irxi.icated. A. Topography: Balar�ce, cut, and fill �-site. P.W. Conditia�s: 9 B. Soils and Geology Characteristics: (a) Constructian activity nnist oatq�ly with erigineers' report, ( b) A soils engineer shall ensure compliance with the report, and (c) Steps to reduce blawsand include watering of disturbed areas, phasing of activities to grade as small an area as feasible and provisian of ter�orary gro�uid oover for graded areas left undeveloped.
