CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF FILES FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF BU[LDING AND SAFETY THAT HAVE BEEN MICROFILMED. WHEREAS, the Department of Building and Safety of the City of Palm Oesert, California, has copied onto microfiche. official files. records. exhibits, permlts and other documents of said department; and WHEREAS, said microfiche files may be stored and retained for sub- stantially less cost than the original documents and with less hazard from fire and water damage. NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the C1ty of Palm Desert. Cailfornia, as follows: l. That the �bove recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the City Council of this case; and 2. That it does hereby approve the destruction of ail documents, records or files (as set forth in Exhibit "A". attached herein and made on micr;�4i:he); and 3. Al1 permits. ca�cu',ations, specifications. plans, tract maps and related information aertaining to all finalled/completed construction prior to 1lpril 1, 1988 are filed and are - available for pubiic use.
