WHEREAS, the C1ty Councll inittated proceedtngs to vacate a portion of a street in the City of Palm Desert, more particularly described in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto, and the City Councll finds that said notices of such vacation were published and posted as requi�ed by law; and WHEREAS, the City Council on the lOth day of December. 1987, held a public hearing. as required by law, at which hearing all persons interested in or obJecting to the proposed vacation were heard, and satd public hearing was duly and regularly closed; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert constdered such matter and finds from the evtdence submitted that portions of the street descrtbed in Exhiblts "A" and "B" are unnecessary for present or prospective publlc purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE as follows: 1 That the following descrtbed portions of rfght-of-way known as Oriftwood Street and Deep Canyon Road in the City of Palm Desert be vacated subJect to and retaining all public uttlity easements existing under said public right-of-way. Said portion of street to be vacated is located tn the City of Palm Desert. County of Riverslde, State of Celifornia, and is described as set forth in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto. II The C1ty Clerk of the City of Palm Deserfi, Cal ifornia, shal l cause a certified copy of thls resolution and order to be recorded 1n the Offlce of the County Recorder of Riverslde Co�nty, California. A 47 lQ WHEREAS, the City Council initiated proceedings to vacate a portion of a street in the City of Palm Desert, more particularly described in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto, and the City Council finds that said notices of, such vacation were published and posted as required by law; and WHEREAS, the City Council on the 10th day of December, 1987, held a public hearing, as required by law, at which hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation were heard, and said public hearing was duly and regularly closed; and - WHEREAS, -the City -Council of. the City of Palm Desert considered such — - matter and finds from the evidence submitted that portions of the street described in Exhibits "A" and "B" are unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes.
