RESOLUTION N0. 88-99 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE C1TY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF F1LES FROM THE DEPAR7MENT OF BUILDING AND SAFETY THAT HAVE BEEN MICROFILMED. WHEREAS. the Department of Building and Safety of the City of Palm Oesert, California, has copied onto microfiche, official files, records, exhibits, permits and other documents of said department; and WHEREAS, said microfiche files may be stored and retained for sub- stantially less cost than the original documents and with less hazard from fire and water damage. NOW. THEREFORE, E3E IT RESOLVEQ by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, Cailfornia, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the City Council of this case; and 2. That it does hereby approve the destruction of all documents, records or files fas set forth in Exhibit "A", attached herein and made on microfiche); and 3. All permits, calcul�tions, specifications. plans, tract maps and related information pertaining to ali finalied/completed construction prior to June 1, 1988 are filed and are available for public use.
