MR. JOSEPH S. GAUGUSH, SENIOR ENGINEER FOR THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, SUGGESTED THAT
I DIRECT THE FOLLOWING COMMUNICATION TO YOU.
DEEP CANYON TENNIS CLUB HAS REQUESTED THAT I ASSIST IT IN SECURING AN ABANDONMENT
OF -AN EASEMENT THAT WAS APPARENTLY DEDICATED TO THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE IN APPROXIMATELY
AUGUST OF 1973. I AM INFORMED THAT ON OR ABOUT THAT DATE THE COUNTY REQUIRED THE DEDICA-
TION FOR THE PURPOSE OF EXTENDING DESERT LILLY. SINCE THAT DATE, THE LEWIS HOMES HAVE
BEEN DEVELOPED TO THE SOUTH OF THE TENNIS CLUB, BLOCKING OFF ANY POSSIBLE EXTENSION OF
DESERT LILLY.
THIS SMALL PARCEL OF PROPERTY IS SOUTH EASTERLY OF THE TENNIS CLUB AND CONSISTS OF A
PORTION OF LOTS C, G AND E OF TRACT 4558.
KINDLY ADVISE ME OF THE CITYS' REQUIREMENTS TO ACCOMPLISH THE FOREGOING.
THANKYOU FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE.
