CODE (This Space for Recorder's Use Only) C-TcARESOLUTION NO. 90-26 CITY OF PALM DESERT: CALIFORNIA (Title of Document) (JD up rr cam . m cri vi 29087 RESOLUTION N0. 90-26 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, VACATING A ROADWAY EASEMENT IN SAID CITY UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF PART 3, DIVISION 9, OF THE STREETS & HIGH- WAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. WHEREAS, the City Council initiated proceedings to vacate a roadway easement in the City of Palm Desert over a parcel more particularly described as a portion of the northeast one-quarter of Section 8, Township 5 South, Range 6 East, San Bernardino Meridian, and the City Council finds that said notices of such vacation were published and posted, as required by law; and WHEREAS, the City Council on the 22nd day of February, 1990, held a public hearing, as required by law, at which hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation were heard, and said public hearing was duly closed; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert considered such matter and finds from the evidence submitted that the roadway easement over a parcel more particularly described as a portion of the northeast one-quarter of Section 8, Township 5 South, Range 6 East, San Bernardino Meridian is unnecessary for present or prospective public use. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: I That the following described roadway easement in the City of Palm Desert be vacated. Said easement to be vacated is located in the City of Palm Desert, County of Riverside, State of California, and is described as follows: The Northerly 745.00 feet of the Westerly 20.00 feet of the Northeast one-quarter of Section 8, Township 5 South, Range 6 East, San Bernardino Meridian in the City of Palm Desert, County of Riverside, State of California. Except the Northerly 44.00 feet thereof.
