A RESOLUT[ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF PALM DESERT,
CALIFORNIA. SET7ING FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND AUTHORIZING THE
DESTRUCT[ON OF FILES FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING AND
SAFETY THAT HAVE BEEN MICROFILMED.
WHEREAS. the Department of Building and Safety of the City of
Palm DesErt, California. has copied onto microfiche, official files. records�
exhibits, permits and other documents of said department; and
WHEREAS, said microfiche files may be stored and retained for sub-
stantially less cost than the originai documents and with less hazard from fire
and water damage.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Palm Desert, Cailfornia, as follows:
1 . That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute
the findings of the City Council of this case; and
2. That it does �hereby approve the destruction of all documents.
records or files (as set forth in Exhibit "A", attached herein
and made on microfiche) ; and
3. All permits, calculations, specifications. plans, tract maps"�d
related information pertaining to all finalled/completed

construction prior to Deceaber 1, l989 � filed and are
available for public use.
