A RESOLUTION Of TFIE CITY COUNCIL Of THE CITY OF PALM DESERT.
CALIFORNIA, VACATING A PORTION OF RIGFITS-OF-MAY KNOMN AS
CATII�INA kAY AND SAN N[CHOl.AS AYENUE UNDER THE AROYISIONS
OF PART 3, OIVISION 9. Of THE STREETS b HIGNMAYS CODE OF THE
STATE OF CAl[FORNIA.
WHEREAS. the City Council initiated aroceedings to vacate a portion of
oublic riahts-of-way. more perticularly described in Exhibits "A" and "B",
attached hereto. and the City Council finds that said notices of such vacation
were oublished and oosted. as reauired by law; and
WHEREAS. the Citv Council on the l4th dav of November 1991 � held a
oublic hearinq. as required by 1aw. at whir_h hearing al ) persons interested in or
objectina tr� the proposed vacatio� were heard. and said public hearing was duly
and reQularly closed; and �
WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Paim Desert considered such
matter and finds from the evidence submitted that the rights-of-way described as
a oortion of Catalina Way and San Nicholas Avenue more particularly described in
Exhibits "A" and "B". attached hereto and made a part of.
NOW. THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert�
California. OOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

That the following described portion of rights-of-way known as Catalina
Way �nd San Nicholas Avenue be vacated subject to and retaining all public '
utilitv easements exlsting within said public rights-of-way. Said portion of
street to be vacated is described as set forth in Exhibits "A" and "B" attar_hPd
hereto.

The City Clerk of the City of Paim Desert, California, shall cause a
certified copy of this resolution and order to be recorded in the Office of the
County Recorder of Riverside County. California.

Thence, South 00 02' West along the prolongattan uf the Easterly

RESOLUTION NO. 91-130
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT,
CALIFORNIA, VACATING A PORTION OF RIGHTS -OF -WAY KNOWN AS
CATALINA WAY AND SAN NICHOLAS AVENUE UNDER THE PROVISIONS
OF PART 3. DIVISION 9. OF THE STREETS f1 HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS. the City Council initiated proceedings to vacate a portion of
Public rights -of -way, more particularly described in Exhibits "A" and "B",
attached hereto, and the City Council finds that said notices of such vacation
were published and posted. as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council on the 14th day of November 1991, held a
public hearing, as required by law, at which hearing all persons interested in or
objecting to the proposed vacation were heard, and said public hearing was duly
and regularly closed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert considered such
matter and finds from the evidence submitted that the rights -of -way described as
a portion of Catalina Way and San Nicholas Avenue more particularly described in
Exhibits "A" and "B", attached hereto and made a part of.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert,
California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That the following described portion of rights -of -way known as Catalina
Way and San Nicholas Avenue be vacated subject to and retaining all public
utility easements existing within said public rights -of -way. Said portion of
street to be vacated is described as set forth in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached
hereto.

The City Clerk of the City of Palm Desert, California, shall cause a
certified copy of this resolution and order to be recorded in the Office of the
County Recorder of Riverside County, California.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Palm
Desert, California, on this 14th day of_N_ovetaber 1991, by the following
