A RESOLUTION OF TFiE C1TY COUNCII OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT,
CA�IFORNIA. ESTABLISHItrG A SPECIAL ASSESSM£NT LEVY PURSUANT
TO SECTION 22620 ET. SEQ. QF THE CALIFORNIA STREETS �
HIGHMAYS COOE FOR TNE OPERATION AND MA[NTENANCE OF
LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING DISTRICT N0. 1980-1 (PRESIDENTS
PLAZA) FOR FISCAL YEAR 1991-92.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert did, pursuant to
the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972, create landscaping �nd Lighting
Oist�ict by No. 1980-1 by Resolution No. 80-126; and
WHEREAS. an expense estimate has been prepared by the Cit.y E�gineer for
the operation and maintenance of said district for 1991-92; and
' WHEREAS, attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and by reference made a
part hereof is a report of the City Clerk setting forth the fund and parcel
numbers in the amounts of the assessments attributable to each parcel of land
within said district. Said charges are in compiiance with Section 22620 et. seq.
of the California Streets a�d Highways Code and said charges are levied withuut
regard to property valuation. Said amounts and fund and parcel numbers have been
verified and certified correct by the City Cierk.
NOW� THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm
Desert. Caiifornia, that the Board of Supervisors. Cuunty of Riverside. is hereby
respectfuily requested to authorize the county assessor to enter said assessments
against each parcel as set forth in Exhibit "A" af this resolution pursuant to
Section 22640 et. seq. of the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the City Council of the Citv of Palm
Desert. California, on the 2 7th day of June . 1991, by the following vote. to
wit:
