A RESOLUT I ON OF THE C I TY COUNC I L OF TI�IE C I TY Of PALM �SERT,
CALIFORNIA, ORDERING T}� FORMATION OF A LANDSCAPING AND
LIqiTING DISTR[CT PURSUANT TO THE LAt�SCAPiNG AND LIGHTING ACT
Of 1972 AND CONFIRMING THE DIAGI2AM AND ASSESSt�NT 92-8 (DEEP CANYON).
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, has
heretofore declared its intentton, by Resolution No. 92-33 , to create a
landscaping and lighting district in a portion of said City; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has filed a report to the City Council of
the City of Paim Desert and said report was approved by the City Council; and
WNEREAS, a Public Hearing as required by Section 22590 of the streets
and Highways Code was held on this date, June 11, 1992.
NOW, THERE�ORE, BE IT RESO�VED by the City Council and Cfty of Palm
Desert, California, as fol)ows:
tl) Written and ora) protests against the formation or extent of the
district o� the work to be performed are hereby determined to be
less than fifty percent (507.) and all protests are hereby
overruled.
(2) That said improvements to be part of said district as described as
follows:
Maintenance of landscaped parkway area Tract 22387 along the
eastside Oeep Canyon Drive including all landscape matertals,
irrigation system and street light standards 4221731E, 4221732E,
and 4221733E.
(3) The diagram and assessments, as originally proposed and as on file
with the City Clerk, are hereby confirmed.
The first levy of assessments shall be for the fiscal year
1992-93.
(4) That the City Council does hereby order the formation of a
landscaping and lighting district pursuant to Part 2 of Division
15 of the California Streets and Highways Code, within the City of
Palm Desert, which is located within the boundaries reflected on
the assessment diagram approved by the City Council on
May 14, 1992.
