DESERT, CALIFORNIA, SETTIHG FORTH ITS FINDINGS AliD AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF FILES FROM THE DEPARTIiEHT OF' BUILDING AND SAFETY THA1' HAVE BEEN liICROFILKED. (OCTOBER 1993) WHEREAS, the Department of Building and Safety of the City of Palm Desert, California, has copied onto microfiche, official files, records, exhibits, permits and other documenta of said department; and WHEREAS, said microfiche files may be stored and retained for substantially lesc cost than the original documents and.rrith less hazard from fire and rater damage. HOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follovs: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitutes the findings of the City Council of this case; and 2. That it does hereby approve the destruction of all documents, records or files (as set forth in Exhibit 'A", attached herein and made on microfiche); and 3. All permits, calculations. specifications, plans� tract maps and related iniormation pertaining to all finalled/completed construction prior to November 1, 1993 � are filed and are available for public use. � Resolution for Destruction Page 2 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert City Council held on this 9th day of Dece�nber 1993, by the folloring vote.
