WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert has heretofore determined that a PM10 Ordinance is necessary to comply with federal, state, and regional air quality standards; and WHEREAS, the PM10 Ordinance requires certain plans to be prepared by developers and/or property owners designed to mitigate PM10 generation; and WHEREAS, the City of Palm Desert must review, comment and approve PM10 mitigation plans, then monitor and inspect the compliance of said plans; and WHERF.�IS, the fees set by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert are established to recover the partial or full cost for time and labor of City plan review, site monitoring and construction inspection. NOW, THEREFORS, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, does hereby resolve as follows: 1. That the Fugitive Duet (PM10) Mitigation Plan Review, monitoring and inspection fees be established and set as follows: r a. �� c. Plan review, monitoring, inspection for existing unpaved roads, parking lots, and staging areas shall be set at $25.00 per site. Plan review, monitoring, inspection for demolition or construction development of five acres or less shall be set at 550.00 per site. Plan review, monitoring, inspection for demolition or construction development of more than five acres shall be set at $100.00 per site. d. In the event that demolition or construction projects, requiring a plan submittal, commence without an approved plan, or certain unpaved roads, parking lots, and staging, requiring a plan, do not prepare a plan in a timely matter, as set forth by the PM10 Mitigation Ordinance, such fee shall be double that which would normally be required.
