RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA
LEVYING SPECIAL TAXES TO BE COLLECTED DURING
THE 1993-94 FISCAL YEAR FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE PRINCIPAL OF AND
INTEREST ON AND ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES WITH RESPECT TO THE BONDS
OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 91-1
(INDIAN RIDGE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert (the
"Council") is the legislative body for Community Facilities
District No. 91-1 (Indian Ridge Public Improvements) of the City of
Palm Desert, California, (the "CFD"), created pursuant to the
Mello-Roos Community Facilities District Act of 1982, as amended
(the "Act"); and
WHEREAS, the Council has enacted Ordinance No. 674 in
accordance with Government Code Section 53340 authorizing the levy
of a special tax on the property located within the CFD; and
WHEREAS, the Council has completed all steps necessary to levy
a special tax assessment in accordance with the procedures set
forth in the Act;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, FOUND AND DETERMINED by the
City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, acting as the
legislative body for Community Facilities District No. 91-1 ( Indian
Ridge Public Improvements) in regular session assembled on August
4, 1993 as follows:
Section 1. Each of the above recitals is true and correct.
Section 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No.
92-22 and Ordinace No. 674, there is to be levied an aggregate
special tax of �1,153,363.97 on parcels which comprise the CFD for
Fiscal Year 1993-94, as set forth on Exhibit A attached hereto and
in the amount set forth for each such parcel in said Exhibit A.
Section 3. The special tax levy set forth above does not
exceed the amount previously authorized by Ordinance No. 674 and is
not in excess of that previously approved by the qualified
electorate of the CFD.
Section 4. The proceeds of the special tax levy shall be
used to pay, in whole or in part, the costs of the followinq items:
A. Payment of principal and interest on the outstanding
authorized bonded indebtedness.
B. Replenishment of the required bond reserve funds, or
other reserve funds, if necessary.
C. Payment of the administrative costs and incidental
expenses of the CFD, as provided in Resolution No. 92-
22,92-23.

Section 6. The City clerk of the City of Palm Desert shall
immediately foolowing adoption of this resolution tansmit a copy
hereof to the Board of Supervisors and the County Auditor of the
County of Riverside together with a request that the special taxes
as levied hereby be collected on the tax bills for the parcels
identified in Exhibit "A" hereto, along with the ordinary ad
valorem property taxes to be levied on and collected from the
owners of said parcels.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Palm Desert, California, at its Regular Meeting held on the �ti
