HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 94-100��-��)( RESOLUTION NO. 94-100 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY QF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, DENYING A CHANGE OF ZONE FROM PR-7 (PLANNED RESIDENTIAL SEVEN UNITS PER ACRE) TO PC(2) (PLANNED COMMERCIAL) FOR 9.1 ACRES OF LAND AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF MONTEREY AVENUE AND COUNTRY CLUB DRIVE CASE N0. C/Z 93-4 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, did on the 14th day of July, 1994, hold a duly noticed public hearing which was continued to Auqust 25, 1994, to consider the request of ROBERT L. MAYER TRUST for the above mentioned zone change; and WHEREAS, at said public hearinq, upon hearinq and considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all interested persons desiring to be heard, said city council did find the followinq facts to justify its actions, as described below: 1. That the proposed zone change would not be consistent with the general plan land use designation for the property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the city council in this case. 2. That the city council does hereby deny C/Z 93-4. PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a reqular meeting of the Palm Desert City Council, held on this 8th day of september , 1994, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: BENSON, CRITES, KELLY, SNYDER, WILSON NOES : No� SHEILA R.
