RESOLUTION NO. 94-�2
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING PRELIMINARY AMENDED ASSESSMENT,
ORDERING HEARING, AND DIRECTING ACTIONS WITH RESPECT THERETO
NORTH SPHERE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 84-1 R(REFUNDING)
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, County of Riverside,
State of California, that:
WHEREAS, this Council heretofore adopted Resolution No. 94-s ,
A Resolution of the City of Palm Desert, California, Ordering the Making of Amended
Assessments Pursuant to Part 10 of Division 10 of the Streets and Highways Code and
Directing Action With Respect Thereto, in which an amended reassessment was
referred to the Superintendent of Streets for the purpose of making and filing a report in
writing under and pursuant to the Part 10 of Division 10 of the Streets and Highways
Code of California; and
WHEREAS, said report has been made and filed and duly considered by this
Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. Said report as a whole and each part thereof, to wit:
(a) the amended diagram showing the amended reassessment and
dimensions of the respective amended subdivisions of land with respect
to said reassessment;
(b) the reassessment of the total amount of the costs and expenses of the
proposed amended reassessment upon the several amended
subdivisions of land in proportion to the estimated benefits to be received
by said amended subdivisions, respeciively, and of the expenses
incidentai thereto; are sufficient and are preliminarily approved.
2. Said report shall stand as the engineer's report for the purpose of all
subsequent proceedings herein.
3. February 10, 1994 at the hour of 7 o'clock p.m., in the regular meeting place
of this Council, City of Palm Desert, California, be, and the same are hereby
appointed and fixed as the time and place when and where thisCouncil will
hear any objections or protests to said amended reassessment and will
consider and finally determine whether the public interest, convenience and

necessity require said amended reassessment, and when and where it will
consider and finally act upon said engineer's report.
4. The City Clerk shall cause notice of said hearing to be given by publication
once a week for two consecutive weeks in the PALM DESERT POST a
newspaper (published and) circulated in the City of Palm Desert. The first
publication of said notice shall be completed at least fifteen (15) days before
the date he�ein set for said hearing. Said notice shall be headed "Notice of
Hearing on Amended Assessment" and shall state: the filing of said report, the
date, hour and place set for and purpose of the hearing on said report and of
protests; a brief description of the proposed amended reassessment; that any
person interested in the original reassessment or in the lands affected
thereby or in the bonds secured thereby may appear and protest as provided
in Part 10 of Division 10 of the Streets and Highways Code of California; and
that reference is made to said report for further particulars.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Palm
Desert, California, this 13 day of Janurary 1994, by the following vote, to
wit:
