Home My WebLink AboutCC RES 94-030�2-��Z RESOLUTION NO. 94-30 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, IiJITIATING PROCEEDINGS TO VACATE A PORTION OF THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY KNOWN AS PAINTERS PATH, UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF PART 3, DIVISION 9, OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE, AND FIXING A TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION. The City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, does hereby DETERMINE, ORDER, and RESOLVE as follows: I That it intends to, and by this resolution does, initiate proceedings under the provisions of Part 3, Division 9, of the Streets and Highways Code, to vacate a portion of Painters Path in the City of Palm Desert, California, more particularly described in Exhibits "A" and "B". II That the hour of 7:00 p.m. on the 14th day of April, 1994, in the Council Chamber, 73-510 Fred Waring Drive, Palm Desert, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place of hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation of said street. III That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to publish notice of said hearing in the Palm Desert Post once at least ten (10) days before the date of the hearing, and the City officials of the City of Palm Desert are hereby instructed to post notice of suGh vacation, as required by law, at least ten (10) days before the day set for hearing.
