HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 96-52ARESOLUTION NO. 96-52A A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF FILES FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING AND SAFETY THAT HAVE BEEN MICROFILMED. (JUNE 1996) WHEREAS, the Department of Building and Safety of the City of Palm Desert, California, has copied onto microfiche, official files, records. exhibits, permits and other documents of said department; and WHEREAS, said microfiche files may he stored and retained for substantially less cost than the original documents and with less hazard from fire and water damage. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitutes the findings of the City Council of this case; and 2. That it does hereby approve the destruction of all documents, records or files (as set forth in Exhibit 'A", attached herein and made on microfiche); and 3. All permits, calculations, specifications, plans, tract maps and related information pertaining to all finalled/completed construction prior to July 1, 1996, are filed and are available for public use. • Resolution for Destruction Pape 2 PASSED.
