( JAHUARY 1997 ) WHiREAS, the Department of Building and Safety of the City of Palm Desert, California, has copied onto microfiche, official files, records, exhibits, permits and other documents of said department; and WHEREAS, said microiiche files may be stored and retained for substantially less cost than the original documents and vith less hazard from fire and vater damage. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, as folloxs: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitutes the findings of the City Council of this case; and 2. That it does hereby approve the destruction of all documents, records or ii1Fs tas set forth in Exhibit "A", attached herein and made on microfiche); and 3. All permits, calculations, specifications, plar,s, tract maps and related information pertaining to all finalled/completed construction prior to February 1. 1597. are filed and are availaLle for public use.
