Home My WebLink AboutCC RES 99-010...,,, RESOLUTION NO. 99-10 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF PALM �' DESERT, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF FILES FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING AND SAFETY THAT HAVE BEEN MICROFILMED. (DECEMBER 1998) WHEREAS, the Department of Building and Safety of the City of Palm Desert, California, has copied onto microfiche, official files, records, exhibits, permits and other documents of said department; and WHEREAS, said microfiche files may be stored and retained for substantially less cost than the original documents and with less hazard from fire and water damage. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of .--• the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: ``°" 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitutes the findings of the City Council of this case; and 2. That it does hereby approve the destruction of all documents, records or files (as set fortn in Exhibit "A", attached herein and made on microf iche) ; and 3.
