WHEREAS, the Public Works Maintenance Division has had significant staffing changes over the last year due to retirement, resignation, promotion and demotion; and WHEREAS, the Public Works Maintenance Division has also had three maintenance workers on Worker's Compensation and Long-Term Disability therefore requiring temporary workers; and WHEREAS, the deletion of three Maintenance Worker II's, one Motor Sweeper Operator, and one Senior Maintenance Worker; and adding three Equipment Operator I's, one Equipment Operator II, and one Fleet Maintenance Coordination. � NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert that Section I of Resolution No. 98-74 be amended as follows: .�..
