A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT,
CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE PALM DESERT REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
TO SELL MOBILE HOME LOT #9, #22, #32, #73, #82, and #131 LOCATED AT
43-155 PORTOLA AVENUE (PORTOLA PALMS MOBILE HOME PARK) AND
MAKING A FINDING THAT THE MONETARY CONSIDERATION RECOVERED
FOR THE SALE IS NOT LESS THAN FAIR MARKET VALUE
RECITALS:
A. Pursuant to Health and Safety Code §33433, the City Council, is required to hold a
public hearing before any property of the Agency acquired in whole or in part, directly or indirectly,
with tax increment money is sold or leased for development pursuant to the Redevelopment Plan,
said sale shall first be approved by the City Council by resolution after public hearing.
B. Pursuant to Health and Safety Code §33433, the City Council must make a finding
that the price to be paid for the property is not Tess than its fair market value at the highest and best
use under the Redevelopment Plan.
C. Pursuant to Health and Safety Code §33433, the Agency is required to make
available for inspection a report containing : proposed sale; cost to the Agency, value of interest
to be sold, sales price for inspection and available to the public.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert hereby finds, determines, resolves
and orders as follows:
Section 1. That a duly noted public hearing in conformity with the requirement of Health
and Safety Code §33433 (a) was held on January 10, 2002.
Section 2. The City Council has reviewed and considered all written and oral comments,
questions and concerns regarding the Agency's proposed sale of mobile home Tots #9, #22, #32,
#73, #82 and #131 received prior to and at the public hearing on said sale.
Section 3. The City Council accepts and has filed with the Office of the City Clerk, the report
required by Health and Safety Code §33433 (a).
Section 4. The City Council finds that the price to be paid for the property is not less than fair
market value at the highest and best use under the Redevelopment Plan for Project Area No. 1
Amended.

Section 5. The City Council hereby authorizes the Agency to sell the subject Tots at fair market
value and authorizes the Executive Director of the Agency to execute all required documents to
complete the transaction.
