A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM
DESERT, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON GOLETA AVENUE AND MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS PARCEL 1 AND PARCEL 2 ON
TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP NO. 31262 TO HABITAT FOR HUMANITY FOR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF TWO SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLINGS AND
APPROVING A DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT AND
A REGULATORY AGREEMENT FOR EACH LOT
RECITALS
A. Prior to lease or sale for development of City -owned property, the City of Palm
Desert endeavors to find suitable uses for such property and invites public input into the
process.
B. Prior to disposing of City -owned property, the City of Palm Desert requires
approval of the City Council by resolution after public hearing.
C The City of Palm Desert owns two adjacent residential lots acquired in order
to provide necessary right-of-way for public improvement projects.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert hereby finds,
determines, resolves and orders as follows:
Section 1. That a duly noticed public hearing in conformity with the requirements
of the City of Palm Desert was held on July 10, 2003.
Section 2. The City Council has reviewed and considered all written and oral
comments, questions and concerns regarding the City's proposed conveyance of the
property to Habitat for Humanity received prior to and at the public hearing on said
conveyance.
Section 3. The City Council has reviewed potential uses for the subject property,
and has determined it to be unsuitable for any use to the City and, therefore, declares it
to be surplus.

Section 4. The City Council hereby authorizes the conveyance of the property to
Habitat for Humanity in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Disposition and
Development Agreement and the Regulatory Agreements.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of July 2003, by the following
vote to wit:
AYES: CRITES, KELLY, SPIEGEL, BENSON
NOES: NONE
ABSENTS: FERGUSON
ABSTAINS: NONE
