A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM
DESERT, CALIFORNIA, SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR
CONSIDERATION OF A STREET NAME CHANGE FOR HIGHWAY 74
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, finds it
justifiable and desirable to consider a change in name for the portion of public street
within the city limits known as Highway 74.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT BE RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings
of the City Council in this case.
2. That the hour of 4:00 p.m. on the 12th day of June, 2008, in the City
Council Chamber, 73-510 Fred Waring Drive, Palm Desert, California, is
hereby fixed as the time and place of hearing all persons interested in or
objecting to the proposed street name change.
3. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to publish and post notice of said
hearing at least ten (10) days before the date of the public hearing.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert
City Council, held on this 8th day of May, 2008, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: FINERTY, KELLY, SPIEGEL, and BENSON
NOES: FERGUSON
