HomeMy WebLinkAboutRDA RES 024REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY RESOLUTION NO. 24 A RESOLUTION OF THE PALM DESERT REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ACCEPTING CHARGES FOR CITY ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES INCURRED FOR SERVICES RENDERED TO THE AGENCY. WHEREAS, Section 6, paragraph 2, of the Agreement for Cooperation between the City of Palm Desert and the Palm Desert Redevelopment Agency provides that the Agency agrees to reimburse the City for services rendered and costs incurred by the City on behalf of the Agency; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Palm Desert as follows: 1) Reimbursement to the City for the following percentages of salaries and contractual costs of the designated City employees and officers is hereby authorized and agreed to: City Manager Deputy City Clerk Director of Management Services Senior Account Clerk Director of Environmental Services Associate Planner Secretary, Department of Environmental Services City Attorney Contract Fee 20% (twenty per cent) 15% (fifteen per cent) 8% (eight per cent) 4% (four per cent) 25% (twenty-five per cent) 15% (fifteen per cent) 10% (ten per cent) 5% (five per cent) Reimbursement to the City is also agreed to and authorized for the salary related costs of Retirement, Health Insurance, and Workmen's Compensa- tion Insurance in the same proportion that the salary costs of the above enumerated employees bears to the total City salary costs subject to Retire- ment, Health Insurance, and Workmen's Compensation costs. 2) Reimbursement to the City is also agreed to and authorized for all other identifiable direct costs including, but not limited to, the cost of telephone calls, duplicating services and postage costs. 3) That the Redevelopment Agency does agree to reimburse the City on six-month intervals beginning on June 30, 1976, with the exception of the first interval being limited to a period between April lst and June 30, 1976. 4) The Redevelopment Agency hereby agrees that while the costs are due and payable in six-month increments, the said cost will be considered loans from the City to be repaid to the City at such times that funds become avail- able to the Agency for repayment. Said sums shall under the provisions of the Agreement between the Agency and the City accrue interest until the payment is made. Resolution No. 24 5) The Redevelopment Agency does require that the City of Palm Desert's Finance Officer shall prior to each interval notify the Agency of his estimate of the amount due for the City staff in related expense that has accrued during the previous six-month period. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Palm Desert, California, this 8th day of April, 1976, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: McPherson, Mullins, Newbrander, Seidler, & Brush NOES: A T C� T1TT .
