A RESOLUTION OF 1'I C1TY COUNCII. OF THE C1TY OF PALM DESERT,
CALIFOItNIA, CONTINUING REQUIREMENTS FOR POSTING OF
RIDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AGENDA AND PROVISION FOR PUBLIC COMMENT THEREIN
V VHEREAS, the State of California, by SB 1333, has temporarily suspended the
requirements for posting of Redevelopment Agency agenda, the provision for public
comment during Redevelopment Agency meetings, and other requirements of the Brown
Act (Open Meeting Laws) in the State of California; and
VVHERF.A5, the Redevelopment Agency is of the opinion that the posting of the
agenda allows for the public to be informed of items on the agenda in advance of the
meetings and believes it is in the public interest to continue all of the procedures, including
the inclusion of an oral communication section of the agenda, for the benefit of the public
in general.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Palm Desert,
California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE as follows:
1. That the Redevelopment Agency dces hereby affirm and ratify its
determination that all requirements of the Ralph M. Brown Act, though
suspended by the State Legislature, in its application to the Agency shall be
followed by the City of Palm Desert for the period of time of its suspension
or until further action of the Redevelopment Agency.
PASSED, AP'PROVED, and ADOP'TED by the Redevelopment Agency of the City
of Palm Desert, California, at its regular meeting held on the l h day of e tember 1990,
by the following vote, to wit:
