HomeMy WebLinkAboutRDA RES 303RESOLUTION NO. 303 A R$SOLUTION OF THS PALN D$SgRT RSDSV$LOPNSNT AG$NCY SSTTING FORTH $N'VIRONMRNTAL FINDINGS WITH RSGARD TO 1'f� PROPOSBD ACQUISITION OF CSRTAiN RBAL PROPSRTY THE PALM DESERT REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY HEREBY FINDS, DETERMINES, RESOLVES AND ORDER5 AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Palm Desert Redevelopment Agency ("Agency") is considering a Resolution of Necessity Declaring Certain Real Property Necessary for Public Purposes and Authorizing the Acquisition Thereof. Said property is a parcel of approximately 420,000 square feet fronting on the north side of Country Club Drive approximately 2,000 feet west of Caok Street in the City of Palm Desert ("Subject Property"). Section 2. The environmental impacts of the acquisition of the Subject Property were analyzed in the Environmental Impact Report for the Section Four North Sphere Project ("FIR"). The City Council certified the EIR by City Council Resolution No. 94-119 and the Agency concurred in the certification and made the required environmental findings with reqard to the Section Four Project by Agency Resolution No. 302. The findings set forth in Exhibit A of Agency Resolution No. 302 are hereby incorporated herein by reference and those findings and the mitigation measures set forth in the EIR are hereby declared applicable to the proposed acquisition of the Subject Property. The documents and other material which constitute the record of proceedinqs upon which this decision is based are located in the offices of the Planning Department of the City of Palm Desert and the Palm Desert City Clerk is the custodian of said documents and other material.
