A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE PALM DESERT REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY KNOWN AS A.P.N. 627-102-019.
RECITALS:
A. AB X1 26 and AB X1 27 were signed by the Governor of California on
June 29, 2011, making certain changes to the Community Redevelopment Law (Part 1
(commencing with Section 33000) of Division 24 of the Califomia Health and Safety
Code), including adding Part 1.8 (commencing with Section 34161) and Part 1.85
(commencing with Section 34170) ("Part 1.85").
B. The City Council of the City of Palm Desert (the "City") made an election
to serve as the Successor Agency for the Palm Desert Redevelopment Agency (the
"Agency") under Part 1.85 (the "Successor Agency").
C. The City Council, acting as the governing board for the Successor
Agency, established rules and regulations applicable to the governance and operation
of the Successor Agency, and pursuant to such resolution provided that the Successor
Agency will be governed by a Board of Directors (the "Board") consisting of the
members of the City Council of the City.
D. The Long Range Property Management Plan was approved by the State of
California Department of Finance on June 2, 2014 allowing for the conveyance of the
property located at 73697 Santa Rosa Way, Palm Desert, California for governmental use
and the property was deeded to the City of Palm Desert on July 21, 2014.
E. On May 12, 2015, a new grant deed was recorded separating the property
into two parcels and the City desires to execute and deliver to the Successor Agency that
certain quitclaim deed in the form attached hereto as Attachment "A" (the "Deed") for Parcel
1 and conveying that certain real property described therein.
F. The Board desires to accept the conveyance of the real property
described in the Deed and the real property described in any such quitclaim deed
executed and delivered to the Board in the future.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SUCCESSOR
AGENCY TO THE PALM DESERT REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY HEREBY FINDS,
DETERMINES, RESOLVES, AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The above recitals are true and correct and are a substantive part
of this Resolution.
Section 2. This Resolution is adopted pursuant to Health and Safety Code
Section 34167.5.
Section 3. The Board hereby accepts the conveyance of the real property
described in the Deed and authorizes and directs the Chair to execute and cause to be
recorded an appropriate certificate of acceptance with respect to such real property and
the Deed and with respect to real property described in any quitclaim deed or deeds
executed and delivered by the City to the Board in the future.
Section 4. The officers and staff of the Successor Agency are hereby
authorized and directed, jointly and severally, to do any and all things which they may
deem necessary or advisable to effectuate this Resolution, and any such actions
previously taken by such officers or staff are hereby ratified and confirmed.

QUITCLAIM DEED
This transfer is exempt from Documentary Transfer Tax pursuant to Revenue and
Taxation Code Section 11922, and exempt from Recording Fees pursuant to California
Government Code Section 6103.
The CITY OF PALM DESERT, a municipal corporation, does hereby REMISE,
RELEASE, AND FOREVER QUITCLAIM to the SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE PALM
DESERT REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, a public body, all of its right, title, obligations, and
interest (including, without limitation, any interest as lessor) in, under, and to that certain real
property located in the County of Riverside, State of California, more particularly described on
Exhibit A attached hereto, and all improvements and fixtures located thereon.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned has executed this Quitclaim Deed as of the
date set forth below.
