AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 8 CHAPTER 8.08, SECTION 8.08.080
OF THE PALM DESERT MUNICIPAL CODE.
The City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1: That Section 8.08.080 is amended by changing the grading
and posting fees for sanitation certificates issued to food serving
establishments as follows:
Section 8.08.080 Prohibition against operation --fees.
No person shall operate a restaurant without a sanitation
certificate issued by the health officer. Applications for
permits shall be made to the health officer upon the form
provided by him, shall be accompanied by a fee as required
by County Ordinance No. 493.4, and in addition, shall be
accompanied by a grading and posting fee of twenty-nine
dollars. A permit may be granted at any time during the year,
but all permits shall expire annually on the thirty-first day
of December, and must be renewed within thrity days thereafter.
If the permit is not renewed within thirty days, a penalty
shall be added to the inspection fee.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk of the City of Palm Desert, California,
is hereby directed to cause this ordinance to be published once within
fifteen days of adoption in the Palm Desert Post, a newspaper published
and circulated within the City of Palm Desert, California, and the same
shall be in full force and effect thirty days after adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the City Council this 23r d day of
October , 1980, by the following vote:
