HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 404ORDINANCE NO. 404 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CHAPTERS 5.84, 8.12, 8.16, 9.48, 9.68, 11.01, 11.04, 15.28, 18.04, 19.01, and 21.04 SETTING FORTH THE PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF SAID CHAPTERS The City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, DOES HEREBY ORDAIN as follows: Section 1: That Section 5.84.110 be and the same is hereby added to Chapter 5.84 of the Code of the City of Palm Desert, to read as follows: "It is unlawful for any person to violate any provision or fail to comply with any of the requirements of this Chapter. Any person violating any provision of this Chapter or failing to comply with any of the requirements is deemed guilty of a misdemeanor in accordance with Chapter 1.12 of this Code." Section 2: That Section, 8.12.060.be and the same•is hereby added to Chapter 8.12 of the Code of the City of Palm'Desert, to read as follows: "It is unlawful for any person to violate any provision or fail to comply with any of the requirements of this Chapter. Any person violating any provision of this Chapter or failing to comply with any of the requirements is deemed guilty of a misdemeanor in accordance with Chapter 1.12 of this Code." Section 3: That Section 8.16.090 be and the same is hereby added to Chapter 8.16 of the Code of the City of Palm Desert, to read as follows: "It is unlawful for any person to violate any provision or fail to comply with any of the requirements of this Chapter. Any person violating any provision of this Chapter or failing to comply with any of the requirements is deemed guilty of a misdemeanor in accordance with Chapter 1.12 of this Code." Section 4: That Section 9.48.040 be and the same is hereby added to Chapter 9.48 of the Code of the City of Palm Desert, to read as follows: "It is unlawful for any person to violate any provision or fail to comply with any of the requirements of this Chapter. Any person violating any provision of this Chapter or failing to comply with any of the requirements is deemed guilty of a misdemeanor in accordance with Chapter 1.12 of this Code." Section 5: That Section 9.68.050 be and the same is hereby added to Chapter 9.68 of the Code of the City of Palm Desert, to read as follows: "It is unlawful for any person to violate any provision or fail to comply with any of the requirements of this Chapter. Any person violating any provision of this Chapter or failing to comply with any of the requirements is deemed guilty of a misdemeanor in accordance with Chapter 1.12 of this Code." Section 6: That Section 11.01.050 be and the same is hereby added to Chapter 11.01 of the Code of the City of Palm Desert, to read as follows: "It is unlawful for any person to violate any provision or fail to comply with any of the requirements of this Chapter. Any person violating any provision of this Chapter or failing to comply with any of the requirements is deemed guilty of a misdemeanor in accordance with Chapter 1.12 of this Code." Section 7: That Section 11.04.070 be and the same is hereby added to Chapter 11.04 of the Code of the City of Palm Desert, to read as follows: "It is unlawful for any person to violate any provision or fail to comply with any of the requirements of this Chapter. Any person violating any provision of this Chapter or failing to comply with any of the requirements is deemed guilty of a misdemeanor in accordance with Chapter 1.12 of this Code." ORDINANCE NO. 404 Section 8: That Section 15.28.020 be and the same is hereby added to Chapter 15.28 of the Code of the City of Palm Desert, to read as follows: "It is unlawful for any person to violate any provision or fail to comply with any of the requirements of this Chapter. Any person violating any provision of this Chapter or failing to comply with any of the requirements is deemed guilty of a misdemeanor in accordance with Chapter 1.12 of this Code." Section 9: That Section 18.04.060 be and the same is hereby added to Chapter 18.04 of the Code of the City of Palm Desert, to read as follows: "It is unlawful for any person to violate any provision or fail to comply with any of the requirements of this Chapter. Any person violating any provision of this Chapter or failing to comply with any of the requirements is deemed guilty of a misdemeanor in accordance with Chapter 1.12 of this Code." Section 10: That Section 19.01.060 be and the same is hereby added to Chapter 19.01 of the Code of the City of Palm Desert, to read as follows: "It is unlawful for any person to violate any provision or fail to comply with any of the requirements of this Chapter. Any person violating any provision of this Chapter'or failing -to -comply with any of the requirement's is deemed guilty of a misdemeanor in accordance with Chapter 1.12 of this Code." Section 11: That Section 21.04.020 be and the same is hereby added to Chapter 21.04 of the Code of the City of Palm Desert, to read as follows: "It is unlawful for any person to violate any provision or fail to comply with any of the requirements of this Chapter. Any person violating any provision of this Chapter or failing to comply with any of the requirements is deemed guilty of a misdemeanor in accordance with Chapter 1.12 of this Code." Section 12: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Palm Desert Post, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published, and circulated within the City of Palm Desert, and the same shall be in full force and effect thirty (30) days after its adoption. PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, this 13th day of December, 1984, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: BENSON, JACKSON, KELLY, WILSON AND SNYDER NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE ATTEST: SHEILA R.
