HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 938ORDINANCE NO.938 (04/27/00) CONTINUE INDEFINITELY CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT, A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT, AND PREZONING TO FACILITATE FUTURE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF PALM DESERT OF 156.01 ACRES LOCATED IN THE EAST HALF OF SECTION 5, T6S R6E (THE AREA SOUTH OF IRONWOOD COUNTRY CLUB); SAID PROPERTY TO BE DESIGNATED VERY LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (1-3 DWELLING UNITS PER ACRE) AND OPEN SPACE (O.S.) IN THE GENERAL PLAN AND PREZONED PR-1 (PLANNED RESIDENTIAL, ONE UNIT PER ACRE MAXIMUM) AND OPEN SPACE (O.S.) Case Nos. GPA 00-1 AND C/Z 00-2 (Members of Ironwood, Inc. and SR Consultants, Inc., Applicants) (Continued from the meeting of March 23, 2000). With no testimony offered, Mayor Pro-Tem Ferguson moved to, by Minute Motion, continue Case Nos. GPA 00-1 and C/Z 00-2 indefinitely to allow Applicant to submit and staff to process through Planning Commission Tentative Tract Map for said development. Motion was seconded by Kelly and carried by unanimous vote.
