CITY OF PALM DESERT FINANCE DEPARTMENT STAFF REPORT REQUEST: Declaration of Surplus Property and Disposal Authorization APPLICANT: Desert Willow Golf Resort CASE NOS. DATE: June 10, 2004 CONTENTS: Exhibit "A" — List of Surplus Property Recommendation: By Minute motion declare the items listed on the attached sheets (Exhibit "A") as surplus property and authorize disposal. Background: The Equipment listed is antiquated and/or damaged and has become obsolete. Staff recommends that City Council declare the equipment as surplus property and authorize staff to dispose of the equipment by utilizing one of the options listed below; on a per item basis. 1. Sell the property. 2. Donate the Property to a non-profit organization. 3. Donate the property to an educational or vocational facility that specializes in the repair and maintenance of this type of equipment. 4. Dispose of the equipment.
