It has been my great pleasure to work with and supervise (although, hardly any is required) Gloria since she started working for the City in September 1999. Through the last four and a half years, she has helped us initiate record imaging, efficiently copied City Council agenda packets, and continues to provide excellent assistance with City Council follow-up processing and Public Records requests. She typically goes above and beyond the expected to provide the most thorough follow-up. Whether it be a project that needs extra attention, or if a staffing shortage occurs, I don't even have to ask Gloria to help out with backing up the switchboard, processing City mail (in and out), copying City Council packets, setting up for or attending a Council Meeting, all the while carrying out her own responsibilities. She intuitively knows where/when extra help is needed. That instinct and pleasant attitude are extremely valuable to the City Clerk's Office.
